Senior Information Engineer
Location: Norco, CA
Job Summary:
The Senior Information Engineer will provide DITSCAP/DIACAP support services necessary to ensure FISMA compliance to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC). You will perform the Defense Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation process on IT systems for NSWC and provide IA liaison to various project teams. You will perform the following tasks:
- SSAA maintenance and refinement for transitioning to DIACAP
- Security testing and evaluation requirements
- Physical, personnel and management control reviews
- Configuration management reviews
- Support requirements on emerging systems
- Guidance library support
- Peer training on the DITSCAP / DIACAP processes
- IA related guidance to system owners, and technical POC's for systems identified as requiring DITSCAP support
- IA technical surveys on existing system configurations, risks and IA controls
- Generate all necessary documentation in support of system certification and accreditation (DITSCAP/DIACAP)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in DITSCAP processes
- Actively participated in at least 5 DITSCAP efforts
- Relevant hands on experience with Windows Operating Systems (NT, 2000, 2003, XP), firewalls, intrusion detection systems, Demilitarized Zones (DMZs), Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), routers and SSL
- Some knowledge and experience with database management systems
- Familiar with DoD and DoN IA policy
- Certified Information System Security Professional certification
- Specific Naval DITSCAP experience
- Direct knowledge of Navy IA policy desired
- Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
- Secret security clearance
